Rezident by Lo Rez Brewing & The National Museum of Mexican Art
Featuring: Instituto Grafico de Chicago (IGC)

We invite you to Lo Rez Brewery & Taproom on March 2nd from 7:00 – 11:00 PM to celebrate the Gallery Closing for our first Spring Rezident, The Instituto Gráfico de Chicago. This event is brought to you by Lo Rez Brewing and National Museum of Mexican Art.

The Gallery Closing will feature nine Latinx and Latin American printmaking artists from the IGC for an inside look at their most recent portfolio, “Dichos y Diretes,” a visual inspiration of sayings, squabble and gossip that have situated themselves in language that speaks to contemporary socio-economic issues.

The Gallery Closing is a celebration to conclude the first installation by the ICG, featuring live music from DJ Bumbac Joe & tamales from Yvolina’s Tamales! The IGC will also be live Relief printing t-shirts for the event!

From 5:00-7:00 PM, Lo Rez is hosting a happy hour on behalf of the National Museum of Mexican Art. $2 of every pint will go towards the museum – join us to support!
